Serhiy Myronovych Kvit is a Ukrainian literary critic, journalist, educator and social activist. He is president of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Kvit was born into a Jewish intelligentsia family in Uzhhorod. After finishing his secondary education with the advanced "Red Diploma," he entered Kiev State University for the philology faculty.
